In our last post we discussed “What does it mean to have an allergy?” as well some of the basics related to the source of allergies and how toxins are really what is behind an allergic condition. However, before we dig into how we handle the toxins let’s take a minute and look at 3 ways you know your pet has an allergy in the first place.1. The first sign is the realization that YOUR DOG IS STILL SUFFERING, even after you have visited your Vet. Therefore, YOU are still suffering, too. Generally, a mainstream Vet is going to prescribe drugs to handle allergies that block itching (antihistamines), that can help reduce inflammation and suppress your pet’s “over reacting” immune system, which is why corticosteroids are prescribed. The idea is to slow down your dog’s attack on themselves. This is treating of symptoms and not treating the cause of allergies. This may be needed, at first, as an emergency measure, but wouldn’t you like some NATURAL WAYS TO HANDLE THE ALLERGIES? You know, deep in your heart, that the constant licking, itching and biting has got to STOP, and you don’t want to keep giving your animal dangerous drugs!
We have the only natural remedies available for helping decrease the allergy symptoms in your pet made with homeopathic and flower essences. This combination of homeopathy and flower essences is the perfect recipe to save your pet from all the suffering. 2. Itchy, itchy, itchy, red, scabbed, moist skin. The itching increases, with runny eyes, ears, itchy back, neck, head and base of tail (most common for flea allergies), with paw chewing and swollen pads. These are some of the most obvious symptoms seen with our furry friends. Wouldn’t it be great to not have to use dangerous chemicals, reduce all of these symptoms by handling what the body needs to bring your pet’s defense system back into balance? Many of us know that the answer is NOT to keep drugging our dog or cat and keep COVERING UP the symptoms, but to actually heal our pet and give them some fighting power for any future exposures.
Using our Natural K-10 line allows you to aid your pet in actually draining out the toxic chemicals that are causing the problem in the first place. Check out all of our Natural K-10 products here.
3. Sneezing. May be coupled with coughing, "snorkeling" sounds, snoring (inflamed throats), diarrhea and/or vomiting. Many of us do not associate these symptoms as “allergy symptoms”, but very well may be just more allergic reactions with your dog. Since they cannot talk to you, it is important for us to make close observations. LINK
As mentioned in our first post, allergies manifest for many reasons: Flea meds (insecticides), grass, pollens, molds, dust, dust mites, dander, feathers, cigarette smoke, foods, drugs, perfumes, cleaning products, fabrics, rubber, plastics , etc.
Some breeds are more sensitive than others, but all breeds are susceptible. More sensitive are the flat-faced dog breeds such as Boston Terriers, Pugs, and Bull dogs.
It is also important to understand that an allergy can be acute (happened very recently) and sometimes can be handled just by eliminating the offending thing that causes the allergy (such as a certain food or environmental toxin). Our Natural K-10 line can be used whether the problem has just come on (acute), is ongoing (chronic) or you would just like to use them for prevention. See all our Natural K-10 products here.
